Competition Winners
At South Manchester Camera Club last monday night we held our monthly competition to vote for our favourite pictures submitted by members. There were three competitions.
In the open competition, John Fryar won with an excellent photograph of a cricketer (see opposite). Well composed, pin-sharp and full of dramatic presence. It was a worthy and popular winner.Phil Portus won the print competition with his image of Loch Eil in Scotland. Superbly rendered and presented on fine art paper, it was a clear winner. Louise Croak won the themed competition 'Gravity' for her excellent image of a snowboarder mid-flight.
